|Edward (Ed) Stuckey (AI7H) has been actively involved in Amateur Radio since earning his original license in 1957. Since then he has spent a great deal of time helping other "hams" to get started in the hobby, as well as serving in several positions where Amateur Radio public service activities interface with served agencies. Most on-the-air activity is on the HF bands in the old fashion CW mode, with some dabbling in PSK-31 and occasional SSB contacts. The modest ham station is located in a walk-in closet, with a home-brewed antenna farm located in the back yard. Ed currently serves as the American Radio Relay League (ARRL) "Section Manager" of the Amateur Radio field organization in the state of Idaho. When not immersed in Amateur Radio activity Ed and XYL Renee enjoy the northern Idaho lifestyle (somewhat intensified when 9-year old twin grand-daughters come to visit).
